Richwood Transport's driver compensation is based on completed trips.  Each trip has a base mileage, which insures a better minimum pay for short distance trips, and paid mileage after the base minimum.  Because our drivers are independent contractors, they do not receive a set hourly pay, but our contractors tend to make between $15 and $40 per hour depending on their service area, hours of availability, and effort they are willing to exert.  If you leave a good impression on the riders, they will request you for future trips, which builds a more stable and predictable schedule.  Our drivers are paid on a weekly basis, but your first invoice cannot be processed until your second week driving.
